I'm Adrian Griffin. I trained as a fitter and machinist, was the in-house repair guy at Australia's biggest drum shop, and I've spent 30 years building and fixing things across my own homes. Kitchens, decks, sheds, built-in wardrobes, TV, audio, and internet setup, assembling furniture, repairs, odd jobs, and everything in between.
Now I do it for people around the Inner West. If it needs to be straight, level and solid, that's what I'm here for.
Around Home is based in Stanmore and services homes across Sydney's Inner West. Within roughly 10–15km of Stanmore, if you're close, just ask me.
Pretty much anything around the home that doesn't need a licensed tradesperson. TV wall mounting, sound system and AV wiring and setup, flat pack assembly, internet and wifi setup, and the rest of your to-do list around home. Jobs stay under the NSW $5,000 threshold for unlicensed work, which covers almost everything a handyman should be doing anyway.
Plumbing, electrical, gas, anything involving in-wall power, structural work, and second-storey roofs. Those need a licensed trade, and you should be wary of anyone who tells you otherwise. If your job needs a licensed trade, I'm happy to recommend who to call.

Fixed prices, quoted up front, you know the cost before I start, not after. For a list of jobs, I offer half-day and full-day rates, which usually works out cheaper than pricing each job separately.
Weekdays. That suits people working from home who can let me in between meetings, and property managers who need jobs done while tenants are out. If you need something outside those hours, ask and I'll see what I can do.
Tell me what needs doing and where. I'll come back with a fixed price, usually same day. For bigger jobs I can drop by first and look at what needs doing, so you get an accurate quote.
